Data & Account Deletion

1. How to request deletion

Email privacy@apifycloud.io from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. To protect you, we verify the request comes from the account owner before proceeding.

If you access ApyConnect as a member of a company’s workspace, you can also ask your workspace administrator to remove your account, or contact us and we will coordinate with them.

2. What gets deleted

• Your account and profile (name, email, credentials and preferences).
• Your authentication and device/session data, including push-notification tokens.
• Personal data held in your workspace that we control on your behalf — such as contacts, conversations and message content — subject to the instructions of the business customer that owns the workspace.

3. What we may retain

After deletion, we may retain a limited set of records where required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, security and fraud-prevention obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Such records are kept only for as long as necessary and are then deleted or anonymized.

4. Timeline

We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Backups are purged on our regular rotation cycle shortly thereafter.

5. Business customers and end-users

If your personal data was collected by a business that uses ApyConnect to communicate with you (for example via WhatsApp), that business is the data controller. We will refer your request to them and assist as their processor. You may also contact the business directly.
